When a company is starting out, they don't want to be considered a "parody" company of an existing successful company. "Most" companies want to be successful (independently in their own right) and not rip off another name, even in a partial way. Ecomberg feels like a parody, if not a bit of a copycat. Plus, you're dancing with the devil taking a little bit of inspiration from Bloomberg as you say, walking on thin ice doing that with trademarks / potential suing.
