OK,

So today I was listing a bunch of domains for sale on ebay. I was creating a template when I saw something that freaked me out.

When I was setting the title to the template I used a drop down menu that will show all of the previous template titles before this one. Today the drop down menu shows something that is FREAKING me out. The titles to my NPs PMs are in the drop down menu. Yes .... The titles to my NPs PMs are in the ebay drop down menu. WTF?

Will someone please try to recreate this and prove to me I'm not crazy?

I'm uploading the screen shots now. :alien:

Go to (ebay) create a template in the sell an item mode. Find the box named title. Click once and wait then click a second time. This is when the drop down menu comes down. Tell me what you see.:o

Must be your browser doing that (auto-complete).
Probably a HTML text field that has the same name as on Namepros.

I ave not typed a single letter into the drop down menu. This was all prompted by a mouse click only

Here are a couple of screenshots showing PM titles as well as a post title. THis is strange.

This shows how if you select one of the titles you get a little more text under the title ????
THis was my reply to a post in the "Domains Wanted" section.

I agree with sdsinc.. This looks like your browser is remembering what you typed into the title field on NP and offers it as a choice anywhere else that has a similar coded title field. A simple double left click in most title fields will show a dropdown list of titles you've used on multiple sites. Mater of fact, you'll probably find that you can go sign-up to VB forum anywhere on the web (since they all basically use the same title fields depending on versions) and the same thing will happen.

Nothing to worry about really. If you really don't want that to happen though, you can set your browser to clear your cache and cookies each time you logg-off.

Its still auto complete.. The field is coded as "headline" in the same way as Vbulletin does. I am surprised this is the first time you encounter this, I often see "cross subjects" in various types of info fields when browsing.

Don't worry. This is just an auto-complete feature of the browser.
