On ebay a lot of flash drives etc are currently being sold which specify that they have more memory then they actually do. For example some 128 flash drives have been re-branded so that they appear to have 512 mb of memory. These gys have even modified the firmware to make the devices believe that they have a higher capacity then they really do. Once delivered it may work for the first few uses and then it will no longer work. Even some retailers are unaware of this, however if you receive one of these devices then it is the retailers legal responsibility to deal with any fault. Personally I needed a new flash drive 3 days ago and a quick run down to currys enabled my to find a 512 mb disco flash drive for just £14.99. Personally I would rather pay the slightly premium price. Anyway just be weary of these scams
