Please be advised that this listing is *not* for www.id.com.

I don't know what potential buyers will think this listing is for, but it is not for the domain registered by me.

I have asked eBay to remove this listing as it is misleading and confusing to potential buyers.

It was very hard for me to find the word "IDN" in there, and the real domain was not shown...

I don't get it... Scam? Why?

I don't find anything in this listing to be "misleading and confusing to potential buyers". It clearly says it is an IDN domain!

"Please note thats this is a full proof real idn domain"

Many users do not know what an IDN is.

Perhaps he should of clarified that in the listing.

It does state however that it is one, which would make it so a considerable amount of domainers would know what he is talking about.

There are too many people selling IDN domains on ebay, showing them as two letter domains..

OK. So that means that this guy who is selling com.com should be sued by Verisign then (or whoever owns com.com):

Hmm... :|

Steveh if users don't know what an IDN is then they shouldn't be in business...

That reminds me of some poor guys who think they buy bargains on Ebay only later to realize the extraordinary shipping and handling costs! (and then leave negative feedbacks  )

If you are going to buy something you don't know, then carefully read its description and why not, ask someone who knows what it is. Why should you even bid at the first place for something you have no clue what it is...

And for this particular case it says it is an IDN! If I was a potential buyer I would try to find more info on IDN-you know... what it is, search for that term on Google etc.

What I want to say is that someone should always read carefully an item description for a product or service he wants to buy on Ebay. I believe this is the problem and not if a domain looks like this or like that...

filth welcome to the exciting world of IDN... They may "look like" but THEY ARE NOT! So that makes them perfectly legit!

Snoopi, this seller is not using the IDN characters in the title or description. That is outright fraud. He/She is using the actual alphabet characters "i" and "d".

ok copy and paste the URL that the person provides you will notice they are using a normal 'i' and a normal 'd'.

If they are not trying to fool someone into thinking that is the domain they are going to get why dont they use the proper characters??

OK I got it now. I agree, guys that's fraud...

Not only is he keeping his feedback hidden, his account is less the 30 days old. Im guessing he thought he will sell it for xx,xxx and than quickly disappear after the buyer realizes what happened.
