Hello,
I wanted to share a quick and easy way to manage your domain nameservers.
I don't know if any of you faced a similar difficulty before about changing the nameservers of your domains on a case of lots of domains (say 100 domains)
I had an idea that would make this process very easy. All you need is a specific domain you will not sell (example.com)
First you have to create an account at CloudFlare.com
After that add the domain example.com and add the cloudflare namerservers.
Than group your domains in categories like (domains for sale at sedo, domains to park at bodis, domains to be hosted to your hosting provider and so on).
Once you have grouped your domains, create subdomains of your example.com at cloudflare and point them to the specific nameservers of your domain groups, for example sale1.example.com points to ns1.sedo.com and sale2.example.com points to ns2.sedo.com; park1.example.com points to ns1.bodis.com and park2.example.com points to ns2.bodis.com etc, be creative). You can use A redirect in this case.
Update your domains nameservers with the new subdomains created. And that's all.
Now when you decide to move a group of domains to an other service provider (marketplace, parking etc) you only have to change the A record of your subdomains of example.com at cloudflare ;)
In the same time you will benefit of all the features cloudflare offers.

Be creative, get a nice short domain and manage your domains nameservers easily.
Hope it helped.

I use above.com for that reason, ie. to easily re-direct traffic

your guide is excellent though for anyone that want to do things 'their way' ;)

thank you

@-EM- I am missing something here, do you have a screenshot of your cloudflare page showing how you have this set up?

I will try to make a video tutorial about it.

I will try to make a video tutorial about it.

I have my own setup, but I think you sharing this is cool.

However, I am confused on various parts of your explanation-which makes me think that it is not that simple.
Is this setup using one set of nameservers (cloudflare) or do different "groups" of domains use different ns? When you use of the word "add", etc, they seem to be used in same context, but I think you mean it to be used different context, etc?

I think a short video/visual tutorial would be easier starting from the top down. :)

The nameservers for ns.rw were added before to let the registrar/registry enough time to update them.
If there are question feel free to post them here. :)

รŽs the video tutorial easy to understand?

All I was missing was I had the A Record format wrong - I am used to cpanel A Record which is host1.example.com. and cloudflare only needed host1

there are a few different companies that offer free redirects...bodis I know allows you to redirect and most registrars allow you to redirect. at the end of the day you really need a tool that is focused on domain management. something that allows you to much more than generate revenue or have sales pages but a complete solution.

This way allows you only to manage the dns for groups of domains
