EASY 5$ Slogan Contest

Hey All


We are in the process of creating our website called Cellyhookups.com

I have such GREAT confidence in this board and in you guys and gals
that i have had already 2 contest this will be my 3rd in less then a week

1st one was a logo contest which Sylense WON!

2nd one is a web design contest being held now here

And now this one (3rd) and a really easy one for a quick $5 USD


DETAILS:
I need a REALLY good slogan for my site Cellyhookups.com.
We will be selling cell phone accessories.

Background Info on our name:
Celly is a slang/ hip hop word for cellphones
and of course hookups is hookups LOL

The concept is ....
where everyone can go to get hooked up with GREAT prices on thier cell phone accessory needs.

A lot of times people dont read them all, but just post the first thing that comes to mind. This is probably a good thing mostly.

If the same thing is said the contest holder should just award the first poster so it really isn't a big deal. If someone copies you you may have beeen onto something, heh.

ya i know its similar but its different i looked at yours and im like o shit its the same then im like no it isnt .

thats only 1 of alot and if 2 people have similar slogans it dosent matter ben every word counts if u want it proffesional..

If I am correct, cellyhookups is a cellular accessory company, if I'm mistaken, please disregard the following post:
ghost, i don't want the 5$, but PLEASE re-consider my suggestion of leaving the words "hook up" out of the slogan. I KNOW a "hook up" is considered a good thing...I undertand the the whole "a hook up means you got a good price" viewpoint. But if the name CellyHookups.com is SPECIFICALLY referencing the customization of cell phones, the slogan needs to be more detailed than conforming a few verbs and nouns around the word "hookup". CellyHookups? Are they a discount cell phone service? Are they selling phones at a cheap price? Is that a text-message dating company? If I knew nothing about your company, and the name doesn't tell me, then the slogan should. I suggest you show your logo and several slogans to at least 20 people who are in your demographic and have no idea about your business (no friends and family). I would be shocked if they guessed it was a cell phone accessory company. Please reference this link:

creme I do understand what you mean. However a slogan is also a branding that when people hear it will associate it with your company.. For instance...

Just do it! <---- nothing to do with sneakers buts its Nike’s slogan
When you hear it Nike automatically comes to mind.

Well ..............if you NOW hear Hook it up or even someone on the streets saying to someone else hey I have a hookup or don’t worry I will hook you up.. We hope that CellyHookups will automatically come to your mind ( well that’s what are goal is)

Now speak seriously I REALLY appreciate all your advise! Specially because you didn’t have to give it and yet you chose to. and that means allot!

However sometimes we have to go with our gut feelings

crème I do think you do have a good Idea about showing at least 20 people who are in my demographic and have no idea about my business (no friends and family). My logo and several slogans and seeing what kind of reaction I get.

When done I will post it here. I will try to do it on Monday!
