I think it's a great name, and a good idea, and a useful site.
Love the moving graphic, and the dynamically updating numbers.
Not crazy about the user poll (requiring user input) way over on
the right, where it's harder to read and respond to. Or the big
consolidation of Orange sort of clumped together in a blob in the
center with weak contrast.
I understand why you were tempted to do it, for symmetry
and everything, but I think it would be easier and more
natural to read if the World Statistic stats were left-justified,
and the central graphic contrasted better against the orange links
above and below it (either stronger differentiations of grades
of Orange, or different complimentary colors even).
Most of the other tabs look better. The purple on the links tab
is a shade that doesn't look good against the gray. Also I think
for the Earth stats, green which you have for "News & Articles"
would look better, plus, 'green = eco friendly'. It would be
easier on the eyes and have a more mellow effect.
Potentially a valuable site to some benevolent organization.
Hard to put a value on it, but I'd say $XXXX, unless someone really
wants to go for it, and then $XX,XXX (not an expert at this)
