How would you guys value this domain?

Personally think it's a great domain for someone in the toy business.

It's an excellent name and it makes sense. Finding or waiting for the right buyer may take patience, but if I heard this name sold for low-mid $xx,xxx, I wouldn't be surprised.

Decent sale chance but whats the renewal?

Thanks for the feedback, guys. The renewal is at ~450 USD.

The relative high renewal fee is also a factor.

It is almost impossible to valuate new gTLDs, especially with premium renewals. However, as the name is really good, I think that a mid - high X,XXX or even a XX,XXX is possible, if you can find the right end-user.

Best of luck...

Ps. At Namesilo, I think you will have to pay 415 USD. Not much cheaper, just telling.

very nice name, low-mid $xx,xxx when sold to right end user, and huge pool of end users!

IMO it would be probably quite hard to flip to pro domainer at this stage, as renewal fee of appr.USD 450 will slow down any speculative long shot attempts, but for right end user (big online marketplace with toys) USD 450 each year is just nothing. You have excellent name, good luck:)

If you're down to renewal (as in when it gets closer to expiring) i'd check out other registrars like NameSilo to transfer, possibly will find a lower fee. Plus those fees may come down in the future as well.

Thanks for the tips and opinions, all of you. Appreciate it! I probably will look into other registrars and compare renewal fees.

Thank you. I agree that it might be hard to sell to pro domainers, but the fact that it's more than a year to renewal might help if i sell in near future. I see that eToys.com redirects to ToysRUs, so it looks like there might be interest.

While some reported sales were quoted for the same 'keyword', I wonder if any of the TLDs sold carry a renewal fee in the same range ?

I'm not saying this name will never ever sell, but I can't see how such a high renewal fee is going to help...
A domain name can quickly become a liability when you have to renew year after year, waiting for an end user that might never come.

E.financial seems to have the same renewal fee, while the other ones seems to have lower ones.

Of the "e.nTLD" sales above, e.link leads to a poorly-developed deal site, e.help & e.ski redirect to other sites, and the rest are parked.

e.toys would probably fetch low $x,xxx at Flippa or NamesCon but I don't know how likely an end user sale is given the comps. Best of luck

If I'm looking for a fast sale for a decent price, do you guys think my best option is to look for an end user, develop a ready to use e-commerce and sell it as a package or just sell the domain by it self?

I mean developing it would certainly add to its value but again you have to consider how long will take to develop a fully functional website. If you were to develop this DN, you would at least have to renew it for another year meaning another $400+ renewal plus all the expenses that come with building the website. If I were you, I would list it on Sedo, godaddy and flippa as soon as possible and give it maximum exposure. As it is, the domain can fetch a decent amount like my fellow domainers pointed out.

Have you considered contacting all the major toy companies? Mattel comes to mind first, though there are quite a few. Perhaps, look and see if Mattel bought Mattel.toys and other toy or toy selling companies, that might be a good indication that they would have an increased interest in the extension.

that will be 450usd well invested (renewal hint hint)

Yes, I still think this will be my first approach. However, I find it hard to find relevant people within the companies that I can reach out to. Any contact info I find seems to be customer support.

I'm going to do some research, but if anyone know companies I should contact, feel free to shout out!

To be honest I was thinking a simple site like WP with WooCommerce or Magento. It would not take me too long, but even with a good design, the website would not target the major toy companies I'm hoping will buy.

Appreciate the input. Really valuable for someone new in the business, like me.

I think this was a good score mate, good one! - I would not at all be surprised if you are able to sell this in the $xx xxx region.

etoys.com is owned by ToysRus.com - maybe they would be willing to make you an offer on this domain.
