In a poll that was not as celebrated as best registrar, Dynadot won the title for something many registrars find important. Safety. Things like a registrars’ overall security. Do they have a strong Financial position. How do they handle your privacy when prompted by say a government agency. Do you feel safest when it comes […]

Totally disagree. Never got a chance to vote....

I had a few expired domains which still in grace period got transferred away to Dynadot auction market...this happened a few times that I feel not secure with Dynadot
Sad to hear about that. The only registrar that did that with me was OnlineNIC.

@omelet -I own more domains than you. I understand perfectly well the principal of renewals are continuous, and sales are sporadic. How I handle this is to try to renew all the domains which I want to renew for those expiring at the beginning of the month of expiry. But because of the sporadic sales, it is not always possible. Basically. If you can't do that there is something wrong with your strategy. Over-invested. IMHO. Sometimes I can only renew half of the domains I want to renew at the beginning of the month. And the rest of my wanted renewals by the end of the month. And because this is a slippery slope slide, my renewals for the following month are delayed. So as this process has developed, I've developed a strategy of dropping more and more domains. And only keeping my most valuable and the domains which I think have the most chance of selling, IMHO. Which opinion is often biased and wrong. I have set a goal of dropping about 50% of my domains over 2020. My actual to date, is approx a third. I sometimes have 2nd thoughts about domains I have decided to drop. I probably pay the $10 charge for renewal between 30-40 days on 2 or 3 domains every month. This strategy has been working for me. But without sales I'm probably going to have to be more aggressive before the end of this year.

Sounds like a personal problem... renew your domains! It’s not that hard.

I don’t even think registrars should allow more then 30days

They make it so simple for you... auto renew.

A lot of members did not get a chance to vote, including many additional members who would have voted for Dynadot, as indicated by previous polls.

This poll ran for much less time than the "best registrar" poll, which is why there were less votes.

However, 180 votes in this industry is still a sufficient sample size to determine who would have won even if it ran longer, especially given how few fake votes can take place in NamePros polls (unlike polls run on blogs where anyone can easily manipulate blog poll results).

NamePros also has new features coming to NamePros polls that will make them equivalent to, or surpass, any other online poll service out there.

We hope the pollster for the registrar poll(s) next year will be impressed. :)

@Nick R is a team member of Sav.com

We hope that helps.

Its would better if poll about registrar only provided by Namepros Team and set minimum time 30 - 90 days, cause there are many registrar and I feel Namepros respect to all registrars
