The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Are any names listed on Dynadot automatically listed at nameclub?

NameClub is launched as a separate marketplace: See screenshot below:

I see option to link Dynadot account to import the domains using API.

My initial reaction?

I'm not liking the dark theme (background/basically everything) on the landing page(s?)

What an odd selection... [edit] especially that .scot and .co.gg don't yield any results.

The logos are beyond ugly, but so is their own logo, so at least they're consistent. :P
Anyway I wish them luck, it's always good to see an alternative, although I'm not sure why they're launching another marketplace separate to their own, or maybe I'm not understanding it correctly.

So many things don't make sense. What club? Do I need to be a member?

Strange NameClub logo. Strange extensions included. Strange pricing ending in 17 cents for some names.

Dynadot had just launched an improved lander for their own marketplace listings. I much prefer that one.

The whole thing looks more like a video game IMO.

Instead of customizing a better CMS and improving the landers, they just decided to clone Atom. Not sure that's a good idea at all. All the logos are complete garbage - it looks like they just asked ChatGPT with an extremely basic prompt to generate "something." No one cares about logos in 2025.

Better to put effort, time, and money into building a proper backend CMS that lets sellers manage backend settings much more effectively, upload images, change fonts, and create logos (if one wants to). Enable bulk edits - not like the current system, where changing the price for 10 domains wipes out all the text. Add more SEO options. Improve communication channel seller-buyer. Let sellers actually create content more easily for the lander, instead of playing catch-up with someone else's moves on yet another marketplace. (And I'd be all for it if I saw a single advantage, feature, or move that others don't already offer - but it's not the case).

That was my impression too. It's pretty much an atom competitor, without the branding. To be at the same level as atom.com, spaceship, or what dan was, they'd need to buy club.com, tagline it as "join the club" as far as encouraging people to get their best possible domains, and somehow tie it into dynadot for a competitive advantage.

I do like it! Please invest more resources, especially advertising!

"Vibe coded" is a repulsive term.
"Vibe coded by a small team" sounds like euphemism for built by AI with prompts from ONE guy.

Took me ages to figure out that the logo is a stylized N and not a K facing the wrong way.

Somebody on NamePros said, and I agree, that nobody needs another marketplace. Domain investment is already swimming in marketplaces and landers. Any new marketplace or lander is superfluous at this point.

Most people just need 2 marketplaces/lander. Some don't even need more than 1. Afternic and another one, usually Atom. And that's all.

Existing marketplaces/landers need to take tangible steps to replicate the reach that Afternic has through GoDaddy.

As such, consolidation is more appropriate than a slew of pet projects.

Too many marketplaces, but no sales 😄

One thing I like is the toggle to switch off logos.

I guess prices look messy because domains have been listed at different currencies. That part needs some harmonizing.

They should remove the unnecesory animation effects from the page. Too much of animation and irritating.

It just reduces the pages functionality and testing the patience.

What about the payout methods? Commision details? Where are they found?

The problem isn’t that “no other marketplace is needed” - in fact, I don't agree with it at all. If a new platform is competitive and offers an innovative approach, or at least provides features that others don’t, I’m 250% for it.

The real issue here is that Dynadot has a lot to improve on with their existing landers and backend (and no, just re-templating the lander doesn’t count). They should focus on driving more sellers to the platform and improving the buyer experience (I’ve mentioned specific points many times in Dynadot’s official thread). Instead, they simply mimic what others did long ago.

If possible, they can acquire Dyn. com and build marketplace like DAN. com, but the domain seems owned by Oracle
