Hi,

I have backorder a domain with dropcatch.com and the whois is showing that they got the name but the domain is not showing in my account or on their platform not even on auction page, they sent me an email of failure to catch the domain. Its so annoying, does anyone else had the same experience.

Hi,

I have backorder a domain with dropcatch.com and the whois is showing that they got the name but the domain is not showing in my account or on their platform not even on auction page, they sent me an email of failure to catch the domain.

I just wanted to clear up any confusion on this one. After Ram PM'd me the domain, the domain in question was actually caught by the following registrar:

Registrar: Dropcatch Auction LLC
Registrar IANA ID: 2841

This registrar is not a part of DropCatch.com, but is rather a part of NetworkSolutions. There are a handful of domain registrars that have the word "Dropcatch" in their name, but they are not us. All of our registrars that have the word "DropCatch" in their name all have "DropCatch.com" in them.

I apologize that there was any confusion with this, but this domain was caught by a different registrar, and as such the email to Ram was correct.

Thanks,
-J

My account is new so I will add an Avatar as soon as I find any interesting one ☺ for me this problem was more important than choosing an Avatar.
