You can have two hypens in a row. I have z--4.com and z--8.com which I plan to make into little mini-sites for the BMW Z4 and Z8 respectively (these I'll flog on eBay as I don't think they're that valuable so prob get best price after fees through there).

Two hypens together is not an IDN. (GoDaddy doesn't support IDNs yet)
I don't think there's a limit on hyphens (as long as they're not the first or last characters and the normal characters limit is not used up)
Domainsite allows me to register c---------etutrur.org for example (I cancelled before completing for obvious reasons).

I think the above are your best.

I would suggest that you sell the rest or (at least the ones you are considering dropping). I mean at least try to get something back for these domains.
