Drop list : what service are you using ?

Hello, as I am new to domaining, excuse me if I'm asking some newbie questions...

Just to make sure I understood the usual sequence when it comes to buying dropped names :

1) You go through a drop list (PremiumDrops, FreshDrops...) and select the names you'd like to order

2) You backorder those on one or several dropcatchers.

It looks simple, is there any other step ?

I'm interested in knowing what are your preferred list providers ? I'v heard only about those two : PremiumDrops, FreshDrops.
Pros and Cons ?
Any others worth considering ?

I was wondering if there is some service that also shows public auctions (non-expiring) along with the expiring auctions.
