.tv Drop em or Not?

What are your thoughts on the following domains? They are set to expire:

freeloans.tv
catorce.tv - spanish for 14
stylenetwork.tv
telefono.tv - IDN
invertir.tv - spanish for to invest
nutricion.tv - spanish for nutrition
gobierno.tv - spanish for government
marriages.tv
floridian.tv
iras.tv

Interesting feedback. I remember a year ago when I discussed freeloans, most people gave the impression that it was a total waste reg.

Might have to re-evaluate. What development ideas do you have?

Weddings and the like are perfect .tv material so I think marriages.tv is a keeper

Marriages.tv fits the extension well, the others are iffy, although freeloans has solid PPC potential if developed

My advice would be to let them all drop with the possible(and probable) exception Marriages.tv. It fits the extension quite well as rocket stated and I think it has the best potential out of the ones list. Free Loans has the PPC potential to be decent but I'd only hold on to that one if you were actually planning on developing perhaps into an informational website or something along that line.

Freeloans and mariages are the ones to keep IMO.
Freeloans.tv could well be a loans site with free tips for much searched loan types as car loans, mortgages, payday loans, student loans, personal loans and credit card loans. Like Denver says, if you get some traffic this could be a great PPC site.

Freeloans was my first .TV reg, so I will put it as a keeper. I think it would be interesting to develop it providing feedback on the various types of loans (Thanks John & Denver). I will look into marriages.tv as well.


Additionally, what is the reasoning you do not see the spanish generics as fits in the .TV space? I would imagine nutrition and government may have some upside.

The main reason from my side, is that I do not speak any Spanish

I only have English word regs and you could very well have a few nice Spanish words, maybe someone with the knowledge of the Spanish language combines with internet (dot tv) can have an opinion about this.

If it were my names, purely based on overture results, I would consider keeping nutricion.tv (3,713), gobierno.tv (4,083) and iras.tv (6,809) and would doubt about catorce.tv (2,877) and for sure drop the IDN telefono.tv (as I don't like IDN's), invertir.tv (771) and floridian.tv (827 and 1,873 for 'floridian grand').

I'm with you on catorce, invertir, and floridian. I am sure there are some Spanish experts on here! I don't think I have maximized the potential of iras and freeloans as they were not receiving a lot of parking hits. I do have some other Spanish generics, which I think may have more potential than these, but I am not debating on dropping them.

Come out wherever you are Spanish domain masters!

These are all keepers, imo! These are great examples of how many prime regs are still available in foreign languages that have been so neglected by .TV corp.

Thanks for your input. The reason I had regged these in the first place was that there was some relationship with these generics. Obviously value is not as high as the english generics, but as time goes on, could be a wise investment. It looks like these may not be worth dropping after all.

Obviously, you're not holding the .TV domains primarily for their PPC potential, but for their website potential.

From that perspective, Nutricion.TV is definitely a winner. Invertir.TV is not bad, but would have been better if it were the English equivalent of Stock.TV.

Why, health and money interest almost anyone (may be not the teens and the young, but certainly those who have money) and can be an advertising medium for all types of related products and services.

As a developed website, Gobierno.TV is not bad, but probably won't bring as much money as Nutricion.TV or even Invertir.TV

Those who are focusing on PPC should not invest in .TV domains, because all .TV domains are really meant for development into websites for videocasts.

In my opinion, your own judgment is very sound. Have faith in it.
