Hello everyone,

I am working with a partner to develop a new drop-catcher. I am interested in discussing the project and listening to your suggestions.

  1. How much should a backorder cost?
  2. How long should an auction run (3, 5 or 7-days)?
  3. What is your preferred payment method (Paypal or...)?
  4. What are the most important features you need?
I will also need some beta testers in he coming month.

If you're interested in the service and would like to be part of the development process, please answer the question above and let me know that you're interested.

Please keep all comments, suggestions and beta requests in thread.

Thanks,
Shane

  1. How much should a backorder cost? I think like Namejet is the best, the winner pay the domain for the others it is free to bid.
  2. How long should an auction run (3, 5 or 7-days)? 3 is good enough
  3. What is your preferred payment method (Paypal or...)? I think Paypal, Payoneer, Moneybroker and the credit card service for high amount.
  4. What are the most important features you need? Great support service is always a must. 2nd a success ratio that can compete with the others businesses active.
Maybe will be good a relative low starting price for backorder a name (ie 10/15$) so you will be the first service to be thought.
third i think Private auction is a must if there are multiple bidders! i prefer to go with namejet for 60$ instead of less with godaddy and then go to public autions..
If you create a service to dropcatch multiple ccTLds for cheap price you will be the first!!
