Dreamweaver upload fault (HELP PLEASE)

Hi there, im having trouble uploading a file from dreamweaver to my webhost using the manual upload function, it says it times out after say 60 seconds, anyone have any insight into this would be much appreciated!

It's impossible to say what the problem is based on so little information. How are you transferring - by ftp? Does it connect? Does a test connect (from the site configuration panel) succeed? Have you ever transferred files to this account in this manner before? Have you transferred this file before? Is the target directory writeable? Is there enough space for it? Is it your firewall? When you click on the error message, what are the details?

Have you searched the knowledgebase on Adobe?

Yeah, I agree with enlytend, we need more information to diagnose the problem.

what message do you get when you test connectivity from the 'sites' setup screen?

If your connecting but then your timing out then i would thing that would be your web host issue timing your connection out. But without more information i can't really say.

As long as you have the correct username and password details you should have no problem. I use dreamweaver to connect to godaddy hosting accounts all the time.....
