Hi there, please appraise my domain dpwnloads.com, registered 2004

Tumblr.com was clever because the right vowel was dropped in the right place at the right time, hence the success.

dpwnloads.com is just insulting. Am I supposed to think that the top of the 'p' looks like an 'o' and the stem of the p is supposed to indicate or convey the message of 'down'? Well now that I look at the 'p' in that perspectictive I will give the name a pass. The only way this clever concept can work is in the Logo. The stem of the 'p' is really going to have to look like an arrow of some kind to indicate 'down'. Very Funky Lazers, the name is worth nothing but the idea is awesome, this was your intent with the 'p', yes?.

I think it's main value comes from the fact it is a typo-domain and can get clicks. I would just park it and try to make revenue off it that way, honestly.

According to Namebio your name sold for $575 at Snapnames in 2004 when parking revenue was gushing and multiples peaked. Today you're looking at a wholesale value of about 2X annual parking revenue. There is no retail market for this name because of the branding hurdle ("visit us at indecipherable mumbles, you know, like d-pawn-loads without the first a or something like that ... "). Good luck!

I recently acquired this domain, so I have no idea of annual parking revenue, also I am new to the domain industry.

Parking? Who ever says 'Parking' has never heard of luminaries like Rob Monster, Rick Schwartz, David Weslow, Giuseppe Graziano and so on. The Movers and Shakers, the '7 Figure Guys'. Parking has been a rotting wafty corpse for at least 4 years. If you are not developing you may as well push all of your portfolio to me and then pay me to take you portfolio.

Thanks Kate, I admit that is not an angle I even considered because I don't think like that. Yet I see your point, the masses are on high alert for anything 'unusual' that could cost them.
