Hi

Just regged

doze.co
winy.co
fend.us

I see some 4 digit sales of 4letter .co names.
Sounds lovely for me (because I paid them!) but what do you think? :)

Brandables 4 Letters .co are hard to sell.

I'd say Mid $xx

I have seen worse .CO domains selling for low xxxx on auctions, Both are dictionary words so I see a high potential out of them. I cannot give you an appraisal because sometimes market may behave so strangely but the only I can say is you will get much more than the reg fee. Good luck.

They have also vocab. meanings:

doze: sleep lightly
winy: Having the qualities or taste of wine

Should be more than Mid $xx but I respect your opinions. Thanks DotBay.

Haaa sorry for that. Its the result of a bad english :) (mine)

In this case. You need to think of what a company will do with the names.

I own Mayo.co its easy to brand. English or Spanish.
Mayo.com is owned by a huge company. Its a category killer.
Mayo means the month of may in spanish. Cinqo de mayo.

Doesn't it dangerous to have mayo.co while Mayo.com is a huge firm that can sue you? :)

If they are not trademarked the name Mayo they cannot claim a TM. Mayo is a Spanish word, very general and very common is the month May. I do not see how you can trademark the name of a month. I cannot trademark "sunday", can I? If a lawyer here perhaps can say something.

Exactly. I don't buy TM Domains :)

The company owns mayo.com beacause they are selling Mayo..

Its like sayimg that Fruits.website could be a TM.

Doze is somewhat brandable (in U.S. at least) for earthmoving.
We call earthmovers, bulldozers or dozers.
A dozer is what you doze with. Easier to monetize than light sleep. $xx to $xxx (end user).

Winy is not a good word here. It sounds just like whiney, which is how small children get when they are tired or demanding. Even if "like wine" where can money come into the picture? $0.

Fend is slightly brandable. Could be for security software or services. Could be a domain hack: de.fend.us.
I'd say $xx (end user). I don't know reseller values.

At the end of the day, they are not ecommerce words, and are on lesser extensions.
And, as always with brandables, the buyer (if any) decides how much to spend.
