Ok this is another one of my sites I've had people ask me about selling so since I am way in the red this month in terms of in vs out cashflow, here it is.

Custom coded software. This IS NO FREE SCRIPT. TOTALLY UNIQUE.

Admin approves all new submissions and deletes dead links via admin login. The users do all the work for you. Right now I have a deal where users submit links and I send the top 3 submitters a small payment. (see the site for details, prizes are $25, $15, $10.) I just raised it this month the prizes were $15, $10, $5. The site gets new members submitting every day so you can probably stop this whenever you want and just have a leader board for reputation purposes.

Users can submit music and funny videos via their own user control panel.

It is VERY easy to get traffic to this site. A link in your sig on forums, exchange links with similar sites that get 1000 uniques per day. Just point them to the affiliate page: http://www.downloadfreak.com/index.php?act=pages&p=advertise

I have simply neglected the site and haven't had the time to realize it's full potential.

Any updated Adsense shots as you're using the exact same one that the other guy used to sell the site to you. It would be interesting to see if the revenue has actually panned out the way you and this other guy obviously were speculating it would.

Sure. Yes I bought the site back in April. The revenue can't really compare because he was using Adsense. I took the adsense off because I was afraid the site might violate adsense guidelines but the previous owner seemed to have no issue with it. It earned $56 last month from paypopup with hurricanedigital as the default.

I used it mainly to drive traffic to my non successful site like www.play33.com (unfortunately it became so successful its bandwidth has been exceeded already ) and I sold that site. I also used it to relaunch RapFX.com which was completely dead and now averages over 200 posts per day and gaining members daily.

So you basically took a site that had good traffic, fed it to your other sites that weren't doing too well and now you want to sell a site that, by your own admission, is worth less than when you bought it for more than you bought it. If I've missed something here please let me know.

Can you also explain how you arrive at your BIN price as it seems odd. In your OP you are clearly using the old Adsense screen shots as a reason to buy, procaliming a projected revenue of $300 dollars a month but then you say that it's only made $56 dollars for you. You also said that you took Adsense off because of possible TOS but immediately go on to say that the other guy had no problem with. I'm assuming this is to give validity to you Adsense screen shot and sow the seed that the new owner could put Adsense back up without fear of Google TOS violations.

Can you also provide proof of recent revenue and give server usage stats too please?

Well as a seller I'm kinda wondering what your intentions are here. If it's your intention to continue posting in the thread and draw me into a site valuation conversation as you attempt to devalue the site with long opinonated posts to get me to decrease the price let's stop here.

I know this site has great potential and if you want it, above is my asking price. It's at that amount because that is what it will take to get me to let go of the site. Can't put it any simpler than that.

If you are genuinely interested in buying it for my asking range we may continue.

Well thanks for your 'honest' response George. I was actually interested and was hoping for a straight answer to what I feel are quite reasonable questions. You used your first response to my questions as an excuse to plug two of your sites and your second response to question my integrity. Interesting way of doing business George.

Good luck with your sale. I hope any potential buyers get better answers to their questions than the ones you didn't provide to me.

OK sounds good... no question dodging or integrity insulting intended there. Just assessing your motives and above all letting you know where I stand on the price in case it was your intention to barter, before I continued.

My apologies if I offended you but look at it from my point of view for a second. In the post I replied to you used 2 paragraphs of accusations and assumptions before you finally skipped to lines and asked a question. My impression from that was that you wanted an argument more than information.

So to confirm. Current site revenue is $56 per month and you spend $30 or more in prizes. Is that correct that profit is about $26 a month or less?

Also the trend of the traffic is decreasing very fast. Would you know why? Was the site linked or listed somewhere and now it's not?

The script is custom coded..does it have an admin panel? Can you post a screenshot please?

Looks like a great site but I am trying to see the value. Have you gotten any offers yet?

hey labrocca,

In answer to your questions:

1) The site only made $56 last month but that was because I was experimenting with cj.com and I only made $5.35 in commissions from them. I wasted over half a month's impressions on affilaite banners that only earn revenue when someone buys something. Considering most visitors to the site are a bunch of freeloaders, in hindsight that wasn't a very good idea lol.

2) Traffic is decreasing because I've neglected it. Here's how I get the traffic: If you'll look in the left column you'll see that I have a button exchange going there (uses affclick to track outbound hits I send out). What I do is since my site gets a decent amount of hits I only trade buttons with sites that get minimum 1000 uniques daily. The reasons the traffic has decreased are

A) I put Loudcash active-x on there for most of last month. (gone now)
B) That I found out just when I decided to sell the site that a few of the sites I traded links with were cheating me and had either moved my link to a "links" page or put up a rotating script where my link was only showed sometimes. So I removed them.

All the new owner has to do is search for sites in that genre (there's a ton of them and they get A LOT of uniques) and request a link exchange. 3) Yes it has an admin panel. What happens is when you log in as superuser you have a special link at the top that allows you to accept and reject links. Also allows you to delete reported dead links. Screenshots attached.

Also added update traffic stats. Traffic is on the upswing already because I started posting in 3gnmedia.com where I'm an admin. I have a banner in my sig for downloadfreak.

No offers yet. But honestly for all the reasons listed above I KNOW this site can easily get thousands of hits per day and the content is given to you by members (360 at this moment). So people can say what thy want in my thread but the fact is I'd be a fool to sell the site for less than what I'm asking so I won't. If it doesn't sell I'll just find some time to work on it and sell a different site.

I Plan to go ahead and end this tommorow night. I have it hosted on areseller account but the hosting used 5.85GB last month. The design isnt too graphic intensive.
