maybe he thinks he can sell it for the higher price, and then not sell it to the high bidder on the other site :P

Ok, seeing that something was up.. I emailed the owner of the domain and the reply was this

Hi,
I have listed it on both the places because the place where I get a greater price I would sell it there. Most probably I would remove my auction from ebay. Selling domain names on ebay is just useless.
Thanks.

soo, I guess KillaKlown was right.

Just to be clear, Angisson, you are NOT selling the domain, but you inquired about it and that's the response the seller gave you?

I'll edit the post aboe to sort out the confusion

It's a very questionable sales practice IMO and considering the other "premium" domains this person has listed (see ebay auction listing), I'm guessing this person is an inexperienced domainer and/or lacks general inteligence regarding TM infringement.

Hi,
Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I have removed my ebay listing. I hope I am not breaking any rules or something. Thanks a lot for letting me know.

Multi-venue listings are generally okay within forums (you should explicitly state this in the listing), but when you get to ebay or tdnam, it is impossible to keep things fair. Within forums, you can communicate with others what the high bid/offer is and there are time stamps. The trouble is that with ebay and tdnam, you don't have these same resources and the people bidding on those auctions believe the auction will proceed to the end.

Thanks for the advice. Anyways I had kept a very high reserve on ebay and the reserve was not met and was not even likely to be met. I had put my auction on tdnam after seeing the poor response on ebay. Thanks.

You also may have people who bid at TDNAM who thought the domain was fun.us and not fun.us.com.

Indeed, I have been watching the TDNAM auction from day one...If it is Fun.us.com ,I would get that taken care of quick.

Hey Guys,
I have learnt a big lesson. Due to the removal of my auction from tdnam even my other auctions were removed. I am feeling really bad.
Anyways, if anyone is interested in "www.fun.us.com", please contact me. It is still for sale. Yes, I hope so I have made it clear by putting it into quotes -> .us.com ;)
