Hi,

I've had a batch of my domains accepted at dotzup and was wondering if anyone here has any eperiences with them.
If so i'd very much like to hear your views.

Thanks

Perform very well with some names; service type industries have done best in my experience (which is limited - only had a handful of names with them) payment always on time; good service, decent cpc....

I will be moving a few more names there shortly when I have a sort out. My advice is, try them - give it a month or so to be optimised, don't expect too much until then. If your names are a good fit, they'll probably do better there than most places.

I agree..

Some names with no revenue from Fab, Trafficz, etc.. but did well with Dotzup...

Mike is another asset. :)

Thanks guys,

I'll be interested to see the results.
If the results are anywhere near as good as their sales literature says they will be - Happy days.

I was thinking of trying them out, a couple of important things I would like to know first are -

1) Do they respond to emails when help/advice is needed (unlike Sedo) :td:

2) Can you advertise that the domain is for sale on their pages ? and if so does the email come straight to you ?

3) Did you find any increase in clicks throughs compared to other companies

4) Do their parking pages get indexed in the search engines ?

5) Can visitors see how many visitors you are getting per month ? (like Sedo)

...and any other helpful advice from anyone that uses them would be great :tu:

many thanks

My response to your question. Others may have different experiences. They have done the best for me with generic keywords and typo generics... Of course as with all parking service, not all domains do well with them and they do not take,
* Adult/Pornography
* Astrology
* Derogatory to a specific people group or religion
* Illegal Drugs
* Gambling/Casino/Poker
* Potential Trademark or Typosquatting Domains
* Vulgarities
* Dotzup also reserves the right to decline any domain for any reason.

YES! Very responsive, quick and professional.

2) Can you advertise that the domain is for sale on their pages ? and if so does the email come straight to you ?
Unfortunately no to the first part of the question (which negates the second part of it...).

3) Did you find any increase in clicks throughs compared to other companies
Didn't notice any change in the clicks, just a higher revenue share from them.

4) Do their parking pages get indexed in the search engines ?
Yes!

5) Can visitors see how many visitors you are getting per month ? (like Sedo)
No!

Always pay on time! (or at least I know I notice their name listed in my paypal acct every month... :hehe: )

And I concur with the rest of what Jasdon and buymynames had to say.

many thanks

I would highly recommend giving them a try if you have TRUE "quality" domains (as I would any honest and reputable parking service). You can probably feel free to PM Jasdon , buymynames or myself if you would like a referral (and personally, I SWEAR I'm not saying good things about Dotzup to get a referral. :lol: )

Thanks, testcase - I found an example of one of their parking pages last night that shows a - This domain is for sale link at the top of the page

Unfortunately I don't want say the name as I'm keeping a beady eye on it cos its due to drop soon.

If you get a moment can you take a look again in your control panel and see if this option is available for all (maybe it is only for select people ??) maybe it will be usefull for you too ? - no hurry for it.

My main interest is to sell so I really need that option on the parking pages.

Many thanks

Hey G!

It might be for select domains or domain name holders, or maybe by special request as I couldn't find an option to list for sale in my control panel -- and I even double checked it before I posted that it wasn't possible.

Just checked my control panel again and still found nothing. But I could just be blind...

Good luck with the drop!

Thanks for checking again TestCase - I just fired off an email to Mike to see if he can clarify it, I'll let you know what he says.

Damn, now thats what I call service, a reply within a couple of hours :tu:

Looks like they can do it TestCase but don't offer it in the cusomer panel for some reason, which would be why you can't find it !!

The reply

"You can in fact place a "For Sale" banner on your page(s). However only
certain clients have the capability from within their account UI to do so.
This is dependant on the quality of the domain names within the account.

Either way it IS something that we can do for you. Which domains are you
looking to park with us?"

Best Regards,

Mike
