Any opinions on Dotzup parking company?

I just received an email from Dotzup saying they would like me to park one of my domains at their parking site.

Not sure how this person decided to pick one of my domain names so I wanted to see if anyone got the same solicitation email?

Hello,

I noticed your domain ABCDEFG12345.com is parked with a domain parking service. I would love to see it being monetized to its full potential over at Dotzup. If you are not familiar with Dotzup we are one of the largest and most profitable portfolio owners in the world. Our core mission is to increase our portfolios valuation through technology and additional monetization techniques which our parking partners can then leverage. We have been monetizing domains since 1999 and feel our experience will provide you with better results than your current provider.

I used them for awhile. The best thing about the experience was that they turned payments around rather quickly and some of the payouts I received where higher for names I did not expect to make much money.

However, other parking companies provide much more in terms of control over the look of your parked pages and more detailed statistics on traffic as their control panel feels rather dated. On the plus side, traffic stats are updated in real time.

For awhile they had a Christian banner on my parking pages which was quite annoying. Not sure what that was about but those seemed to have disappeared.

I also spoke with the owner serveral times while submitting domain names to the service and he was very friendly and professional.

Overall it was a good experience although I am not convinced their parking pages are best suited for my names. I may return but for now I am experimenting elsewhere.

Sorry for the having no post count, but I this was the first thread I felt I could contribute to since I started returning to NP.

Hope this info helps.

Thanks Mezzy for your thoughtful comments!

Has anyone else received a solicitation email directly from Dotzup?

Spot on MeZzy!

For some names they are great. The landers don't suit many topics IMO, but the ones they do suit, make money.

I have a PR4 name I bought a couple of years ago - it's been parked there for the last 18 months, and it's still a PR4, which is impressive in my book. And it's rev has increased virtually month-on-month this year.

On the other side of the coin, I have had some names there that haven't performed well - it's trial and error.

Overall, CPC is pretty good; payments are always on time; service is acceptable to good - if they are contacting you over a specific name, I'd say they can do well for you - unless you're making Brewsters where you are, I'd give them a try....
