Dont have exp with dotster but i suspect its like all domain transfers.

You go to godaddy and start the trasfer there.

Then you will then get a email that you provided for dotster, you click confirm on that then everything will be transfered.

Thanx for the help. I thought the transfer or push link will be somewhere on dotster page. :)

:bingo:

"Pull" it over to GoDaddy from Dotster ... at your normal registration/renewal (one year extension) price at GoDaddy. This is NOT what would be considered a "free push" - those occur within the SAME Registrar.

oh, ok, thanks CH.

I actually made my first domain sale and the seller needs it to be transferred to his godaddy account.

Thatz why i asked for this.

Thankx for all the help :)

Righto, he/she (the Buyer) will have to initiate the "pull" over to their GoDaddy account (you will get the confirming/authorizing E-mail from Dotster to "release"/approve it). They will also incur the GoDaddy one-year renewal cost ... so that money aspect may have played in to the initial negotiations of the sale.
At least make them aware that this cost will be part of the deal - full disclosure. This is a classic "pull" scenario, very common!
Congratulations on your first domain name sale, Suthra. :tu:

you can transfer domains between same site and different sites.
But the one to a different site is usually not free, so check for that
