Dotster Question

Does anyone know, since MyDomain.com is apparently a Dotster reseller, are there free pushes from MyDomain to Dotster?

Hmmm ... I'm assuming yes, but will wait for an expert with Dotster! :gl:

PS. I wrote Dotster the other day as I had a bunch of renewals schedulaed for $14.95/per ... and I told them I'd be moving all of my domains to Emon at $7.95/$8.95/per. I was provided a "special code" for $8.95 renewals for all of my designated to be renewed domains at Doster! (I've done this several times, and just figured I'd share it here with you all - as I was of absolutely no assistance above).

Well, I decided to experiment, so I tried pushing a domain from my MyDomain acct to my dotster account & it seemed to work flawlessly

Oh yeah that definitely works good tip I moved a three letter .com I had at register.com and you know what they charge ($35) They called me asked why Iwas leaving said I was getting $6.99 said they would match it. I declined because I said they were not popular with domainers.

dotster owns mydomains.com. They bought them a few years ago

Always interesting to know which site is related to others. Knew about NameWinner being owned by Dotster, but MyDomains isn't that obvious.

We moved domains from GoDaddy to Enom and GoDaddy wouldn't match the price or even give us an incentive to stay. Maybe if you are the big guy on the block, being anti-customer to one account is no loss.
