If you look at reported sales you will notice that some extensions sell much better than others. Do you plan to resell or develop ?
If you are looking to resell you need to be selective... .asia is not the most liquid extension.
Personally I think it's even worse than .biz :)

.asia is still very new compare to .biz domain name. Probably you want to know the reason you want to go for .asia domain? If resell the domain, then you might want to know your market well. who will be more interested other than Asian.

All investments are risky. Consider dot com for example. Back in the early 1990s, the majority were worthless? why? it was not as developed nor did it receive high visibility.

Those that own the dot coms back then had to pay yearly registration fees and back when google was not a corporation there was no adsense for them. They were as worthless as anything.

The point is. You have to develop the domain to create value, or wait until others develope them. If you wait for others to develop them, by the time you jump in, its too late.

If you develop them before others, you will be not making money in the early years because there' sno support for them yet.

Risk&Rewards go together. Be an entrepreneur and make a lot, at the same time lose alot. Or be behind the game and make a little or lose a little.

Its about your strategy and timing.
