Not sure how, but PokerRoom.Online and PokerRooms.Online slipped through preregistrations and they're not even premium (amazingly), so I nabbed 'em!

Given that poker rooms are originally an "offline" concept and because most poker sites are essentially "rooms" and they call themselves that, I think I made out with a couple of nice ones.

What .Online domains did you get?

I found many keywords and lots of NNN's still available when I searched the registar. Radix appeared to keep most of the premium ones reserved.

Is that a sign of a weak interest in the extension or am I just being impatient? B-)

Either way, I'm keeping my initial investment under $200 in this ext. so I don't lose my shirt on useless domains. ;)

my favorite are probably:
pediatrician.online
radiation.online
heroin.online
dhs.online

So this extension seems to have died out (as predicted) and that guy @geoonlinedomains has not made a post since late September (about the same time this has cooled down.

So I am still sticking to my point... regardless of how well you THINK any given extension will do or is doing... the KEY is to grab ONLY category killer premium keywords. If the extension has kept them all for them selves, then maybe you should consider just waiting until another extension comes along that will release them.
You never know when the hype will die down around any given extension and there is no sense being left holding second tier keywords and wasting your time and money.

Just my $1.06 (this damn inflation is getting out of control).

Cheers

You and I were right about this extension. I got into all kinds of arguments with people trying to say that this one is pointless and only to buy category killers. Investors in .Online pointed to all kinds of data that they thought 'proved' they were right. But yeah, this extension has certainly done worth than most. Just a lot of domainers speculating and snapping up every name they can think of in September.

Speaking of B.s and hype...
How is your portfolio of .Work and .Casa doing? You claimed it to be the next big thing as well?

I certainly never said .Casa. LOL

I said .Club and .Work. My two personal favorite nGTLDs that have been growing steadily ever since. With my nGTLD investment strategy I am playing the long game. At $10 / year for .Club and $2 / year for .Work, respectfully, I really don't mind hanging on to them for the 5 - 6 years it will take for category killer two-word combos to fetch nice prices. In other words, I am long on my nGTLD portfolio. These ain't for flipping.

I Have received offers and inquiries on four of my .online hence, I have no reason to lose my sleep

Guess the Chinese people like NUMERIC but not .online:rolleyes:

It's a HERD. Looking at dot TOP craziness, anything is possible.
And, IMHO, dot ONLINE is way better than TOP and makes more sense, professionally & otherwise as well.

AFAIK, only .ren, .wang, .top, .citic and several others had put on record with MIIT, extensions hasn't got the license cannot be used in China. Correct me if I remembered wrong.

.online makes sense.

And I think .biz and .info makes more sense.

For new gTLDs to do well, traditional ones like .org, .biz and .info have to do better. Just my opinion.

There are so many <xyz>Online.com domains, that's the reason I said .online makes sense.
As far as .biz and .info are considered, they don't make the cut IMO.

INFO, I think is only useful for information related names. Like geo names.
