It's an IDN so not sure that you will pick up many appraisals here (try the IDN section if you don't get many replies)

Picked up this bit of info about it from wiki:

(obsolete, replaced by ʊ ) a symbol of the IPA, representing a near-close near-back rounded vowel.

Only registers 121k on google so not much value imho.

However, I found this thread on another forum
