When I grew up in England, (many moons ago), Dork was a vey common term.

I´ve a feeling the word Dork has it´s origins in Australia. I recall it being widely used on Australian Soap Operas like Neighbours and Prisoner Cell Block H.

Are you in the UK? Do people still call people Dork?

Is it a common term in the US and Canada too?

$1,800 - $2,400 end-user

Fits the tech-world, although not quite as chic as "geek" / "nerd"

Maybe a slight discount for "what goes around comes around" (AKA: It'll come back into style probably)

I would agree with this. Dork is more derogatory than geek or nerd, so I would probably go more toward an negative angle, like a website making fun of overly nerdy or geeky things and/or people doing outrageously stupid things. All that "pwned" stuff is popular and would work too. It's an easily memorable name and could probably start a "cult" website pretty quickly if developed as such. As far as selling, I think you'd probably get mid-$xxx to reseller, and maybe $1,500-$2,000 to an end user at most. It's a great name and should be worth more, but the problem is that it's obviously not very business oriented, so finding an end user willing to pay that much might be difficult. Good luck with it!

I think this is a very nice domain. Dork is a very common word with both positive and negative meanings, depends on how you look at it. Undeveloped I'd say high $xxx to low $x,xxx.

Yes I would agree with Momo and say high $xxx to low $xxxx. Why?

1. It's a nice sounding name, works very well with .org
2. I'm sure there will be an org in the future that's abbreviated "DORK".
3. 4 Letters, not ideal but very good
4. .org lowers it's value but it's a good name overall.
