I always thought of FM like radio FM. A few websites like sky.FM utalize the extension in that way. A good name a bad extension IMHO. I say low to mid $xx

well, if you check the word "domains" in other extensions, it is nearly always taken. .FM is a good extension and is becoming more popular...
I would say mid to high $xxx
