DomainName Appraisal Software?

I guess I just want to look into the average value of my domains and what they are worth. I figured software can give me an estimate on that. Is there any free software out there, or a website with a list of companies that offer domain name appraisal software?

My other question is, are the programs out there reliable? Do they give an accurate estimate? I realize that different programs have different final results and values, but overall, can the estimates be trusted or are the "human professional appraisals" more reliable? :)

Any feedback is appreciated..

Hello,

I pesonally would not use free software for appraisals.
I have had one of my names appraised at $75,000 and it is not worth $5 so free software is not a good choice.

Posting in the appraisals section is a good idea because the people who appraise these names are quite accurate.

I have never paid for an appraisal before but maybee someone else could point you in the right direction af an established company.

good luck.

software cant factor in the human factor. current demands and changes in society. imagine putting in a domain about xbox 360 now. it prob give it nothing because it isnt aware of the changes going on

I agree,It really does nothing but put a big smile on your face,But the reality is that a name is worth what someone is willing to pay for it,There is no way to know how people will accept a name and ect when put on the market for sale.

thanks guys! :D I guess you've all answered my questions pretty loud and clear, and it does make a lot of sense. Forget about the software and go with the real deal, the domaingurus online :)
