What route do you think would be best for domaining without PayPal? PayPal is great for quick, $xx-$xxx sales, but are there any alternative methods out there just as easy, safe, and fast for $xx-xxx sales?

I'm using no payPal.
So when one of my domain sold for USD 5XX, the buyer paid to Sedo, then Sedo wired transfered the money to my local bank account. :gl:

Paypal may be okay for quick (and cheap) flips, but it's a risky for higher end domains.

Moneybookers is an alternative and there is an escrow option too.

Western Union:

Seller: yes

Buyer: no (absolutely NO buyer protection!)

If you're a buyer, NEVER use WU, unless you absolutely know and trust the seller.

Moneybookers if your buyer has account there.

BUT, I think you should check eCOP.com. Buyer can pay through PayPal and you can receive funds via wire. The same as Escrow.com, BUT without commission for <$500 transactions. Perfect solution! I think Francois is somewhere around so he could confirm.
