Taking a section from their TOS:

"Affiliate may not generate traffic to their website or our links by any of the follow methods: listings on newsgroups, bulk e-mailing, icq postings, or chatroom/irc postings, iframes, zero pixel frames, hitbots, clickbots, spiders, cgi-scripts, java-scripts, or any other similar method."

It seems like PTRs wouldn't be allowed if you were being paid for CPM, but for CPC they'd be fine... I really don't know though. I sent an e-mail to support a few days ago and have yet to hear back from them.

I see no reason why not, cuz you only advertise your link in those paid mail, unless you asked in the mail that they click on your site.

WOW... I sent out ONE EMAIL to a PTR site's members (there are 20,000 members or so) and I'm making $15/day (this should continue for about 4 days as well)... I paid like $3 for the advertisement... About 35 clicks per day go through the portal setup at DomainHop. Either something's wrong here, or there's a HUGE amount of profit to be made :D

What are some good PTR services out there? Any of them reputable?

"Domainhop Managed Names"

"Domainhop Managed Names"

I just added 15 or so names to my domainhop account and it has been almost 2 days since doing that. Making a little $$$ right now in this short time, but when I select to have domainhop manage my names and descriptions etc, I noticed MANY that were not placed in categories relevant to the name. (For instance: one of my adult oriented domain names were listed in "Automotive".) I have since modified these myself. Of course, the plus side to this is that you do have FULL control over how your domain name is categorized and you can choose listings only, pop-ups or not, etc. I'll give it a month and see what the results are.

I would have to say no they would not allow PTR. They are owned by a PPC Search Engine. Most of these dont allow any type of advertising on sites that incetitize in ny way or form. I had to remove my links for my PPC Search from PTR sites I was advertising on because one feed found one with my URLs on it. I was told I couldnt even OWN a site that gives incentives.

It seems since I switched to DomainHop I've been getting less views on my domains. I would get at least 5 a day for some domains on Sedo, but on DomainHop I get sometimes none.Does domainhop only show uniques?
