Anyone know if the .cash domain extension is any good and is it desirable?

Any idea for the value of. bitcoinfor . cash ?

Namebio (which is not complete but shows many sales if they are over $100) can be searched for any extension - it shows 3 sales of .cash, the largest at $8340 for back(.)cash (all are single word).

Names containing bitcoin are popular, but there are so many people with things registered in that there is a lot of availability for those looking for domains. BitcoinFo(.)cash does make sense as a phrase, and starts with Bitcoin, both good. That being said finding a buyer for most domains, and for new gTLDs in particular, is a challenge.

Have you yet listed it on some markets like Undeveloped or Afternic?

Thanks for your reply,I don't actually own this domain - was thinking of buying it.

But wasn't sure how to value it,and didn't want to pay over the odds for it, in case I had to sell it on after.

I should have added that GoValue (the GoDaddy evaluation tool which is currently free but in beta) give a valuation of <$100 for it (they don't give values below $100, so it is saying the lowest value). You should get an estimate on Estibot (you can do one per day free - I've already used up my free one today). Bob

fyi...it might not be a good idea to post a name you do not own already. Not that any of the wonderful people here would take advantage, but giggle indexes this site within seconds of a post and to paraphrase the late great Dr Sagan 'billions and billions of people' may see it and snatch it up. I agree with advice that @Mister Funsky gave to @Cruncher to in general not post names you are considering buying. That being said, this one, and three like it, were already up on a for sale landing page, so probably no harm done.

Re how accurate GoValue is, I think while better than Estibot overall, GoValue tends to over value domains so when it says <100 I would not pay much for the domain. Now it does miss things, sometimes splitting two words wrong, but I suspect this one it did understand the two words.

It uses prior sales, and not much to go on for .cash or for the two word domain name itself.
