Domain Suggestion Script?

I am really not sure where to post this question, but here goes...

I am looking for an Available Domain Name script that I can use on a website. I know there are sites that have this, but I want to be able to play around with the code, etc...

I have found some on websites like HotScripts, etc... but they are either broken links or not what they say they are...

Anyway, does anyone know of an available script (will pay $$ if necessary) that will check to see if a domain is available to register and if it is not will suggest some similar names that are available??

They do not allow for .ca that is what I am mostly interested in...
