I would love to see this developed, could be a great site for aspiring film makers. I have several friends in LA who make music videos and actually send in "amateur" commercials (but these look far from Amateur!).

Value wise? low xx - Again, this one is prime development.

Thanks DS, that one and the same with .tv are my two favorites. I will be looking for a partner(s) for this. I already have a great idea for it similar to yours. I really wish I had the financial backing to get this going, it's a gold mine imho if done properly with the right team.

Couldnt agree with you more. Im running into the problem of a steady flow of new domain names, new ideas, lack of capital or time. Too many ideas, too little time and too little money.

Ahhhh.... atleast I have a "little" money.

Look at sites like CastNetMedia or Spotrunner and you'll get where i'm going with this. there are a few other companies out there, offering flash videos to media companies that are in the vertical solutions market. it's an up and coming industry. get your foot in the door and you have a seller on your hands. google for some more and you'll get the idea. commercialads.tv could be the real deal. precise, to the point, nothing left to guess and which market you're catering to and for. perfect synergy.

Thanks, and I know what you mean.

My "idea" is based around the fact that alot of the top companies are looking and holding contest lately for ideas for their commercials. Paying good money I'd assume to the winners. There will be one commercial for the superbowl itself which was won by somebody in N.J I believe, one for doritos and also pepsi if I'm not mistaken.

My thoughts are a site similar to youtube only companies can hold contests and or the general public, aspiring film makers, actors etc can pick whatever product they choose and make their own commercial about it. With the big sponsors/companies etc looking on, they can take whatever ideas they like and make a real commercial with it.

The possibilities are endless and so is the legal mumbo jumbo with copyrights, contracts or whatever else might be involved.

Call me just another guy with a billion dollar idea or a dreamer, but I'm certainly not the only one :lol:
