Domain name not resolving

Hello,

Hope I am posting in the correct section. I have a domain name which is pointed to the server but is just not resolving at all. It has been more than 48 hours but I just don't know why it won't work. Can anyone point me in the right direction for troubleshooting this so that I can try to fix it? It's a domain name for a charity, so I'm in a bit of a rush to try to fix it.

I'd give it another 24hrs or so. Sometimes it take a while to get thru everybody's internet caches. Did your clear your browser cache?

It's been more like 5 days now. The browser cache is clear, and I've asked many others to try it. When I go to it, it instantly cannot load it and I get a message of The server at thedomain.org can't be found because the DNS look-up failed.

What is the domain ?

This problem has now been resolved by the hosting provider. Something to do with no nameserver records at their end. Thanks for all your help.

That's almost worth changing your hosting provider over such a simple thing like that.
