Domain name disputes and rights

I have a problem regarding a domain name. Here is the story:

I am freelance web designer. I have done few designes and hosted at www.kujtesa.com, Kosovo. The domain name www.xhamia.com was registered from another company www.albweb.com. Albweb is cooperating with www.knipp.de. Since they have some internal problems, Knipp has forwarded all the domain names registered by Albweb to its web site.

So, here is the question: Can I get back my domain name? Can I renew the domain without waiting the deadline? What are my rights on this case?

It could be nice from your side to answer my questions or at least guide me somewhere else to solve my problem.

I really appreciate you help!

Sincerely,
Nafi Avdullai

albweb are still admin contacts on the whois you would need to get them to change this to your email address at least so that you could initiate a transfer

Hi Nafi.

Whoever is listed as the "registrant" based on the WHOIS records is the legal
owner of the domain name, although you are the owner for all intents and
purposes.

Since AlbWeb is the administrative contact listed, your first course of action
is to contact them and try to get them to change it to you. If not, then go
thru the actual domain name provider (called registrar), www.corenic.com.

So, here is the question: Can I get back my domain name?

The domain name has always been yours: you just need to gain access to it.

Can I renew the domain without waiting the deadline?

Yes. In fact, if you can afford to shell out extra, that'll save you the trouble
of not renewing the domain name on time.

What are my rights on this case?

As the registrant, you have the last say. But you need to follow the registrar's
instructions to the letter on how to gain access to your account.

If you've spare time, read their Terms Of Service/Service Agreement. Be sure
to understand how your registrar works and their approach to certain issues
so you won't feel "scammed".

It's all a matter of understanding. :D

If your email matches the admin email for the domain, yes you can. I suspect that the party you once serviced has direct access to managing your domain, which raises a couple of questions....
