Hello!

owning hundreds or thousands domain is really hard remember which is the registrar, the expiration date and many useful info..

are there on the net software helping us to keep all organized?

would be very interested on a software like that that help me to order names by various argument like expiration date or domain cost and so on..

would be amazing too if that tool could "read" from a parking source, how much money the domain is making and updating automatically the stats (like the whealth manager did produced by the wealth investors)

obviously i think is hard that this tool could be available for free.. so also paid software/ online tool are wellcomed

I swear by www.domainpunch.com PRO which runs on your own computer. I also use their net software www.watchmy.domains SED . I only use about 20% of it's power. You can get all the pricing here http://watchmy.domains/products/shop.php. You would need to write your own interface to download the info from www.above.com and www.watchmy.domains SED and combine it. If you want to go that route, I could share the cost with you. It would be one valuable tool.

how do they check exp dates? use verisign or u must manually enter?

This is the only software I know which if used as instructed will not get your IP banned by various Registrars. You click on the domains you want to look up, and the expiry dates are updated from both Verisign and the Registrar. It's one heck of a powerful tool. There is a time limited free trial.

Think he is looking for software to MANAGE his domains, not be looking for more domains to buy.

@iowadawg I'm not selling any domains to pablo. The software is not selling any domains. I am recommending a software which will do the task pablo is looking for. Which pablo recognises is so complex he is unlikely for find a free tool. I'm recommending it from my own experience with this software. Purely altruistic reasons. I know you think that is rare from all your other posts :)

Hello,

This post is in case the OP already has all (or most) of his domains at GoDaddy. They have a great export feature that creates a downloadable file of all your domains ready for Excel (with all the pertinent information like registration date, expiration date, name servers, lock status, etc...). I think others have an Export tool also, but I like GoDaddy's because they also include the number of "WHOIS" lookups against my domain names (the WHOIS numbers are not for all extensions, but it is for the .com extension -- which I like the most).

Regards,
DN

Check out www.efty.com - it's a webtool we're building doing pretty much exactly what you're looking for (and a lot more). We're launching our beta in just a couple weeks from now.

Here's a short video explaining how it works: https://vimeo.com/89166601

@dv82 - We are waiting for it. At this point it is a lot of hot air until it's released.

@pablo - There is very little difference in the functionality of www.domainpunch.com PRO and www.watchmy.domains SED. The biggest difference is DP PRO uses an encrypted flat file database, whereas WMD SED uses a regular MySQL database (which of course you can extract data from). They try to keep the two versions up to the latest specs, but it's my feeling that WMD is a tad behind DP PRO. My personal feeling is you'll need at least a VPS to run WMD SED, although, if you have less than 1K domains you might get away with regular hosting. I hope that answers your questions. If not, then you will need to be more specific.

Hi Stu, that wont be long from now. I do hope that you, being a experienced domainer, will have a look once we're live and of course I hope you will be pleasantly surprised with how the software can help you manage and monetize your portfolio.

on those software (on line and offline) receive our data manually?
or when u reg a name is automatically inserted on the manage system?

i guess that only the online tool do it..

Nope. You have to input them manually in both online/offline systems. None of them scour the root file for your name. That would be way too much to ask.

No problem is a good deal.. If u should have advise a purchase what do u think is the best?
From my point of view the 50$ version offline seem very cool and enough.
No need to have online.. At least the more enhanced features..
Waiting 4 your opinion :)

I bought the $129 Domain Punch version. If I remember correctly, I bought that version because of the number of domains it supported. I don't know what differences between the two versions are. But probably not a lot. I am extremely satisfied with the product. If you follow their instructions your IP address will not get banned by any of the registrars. And you can update the software with the latest whois info with a click. You can do multiple lookups, but of course they are looked up serially. I think the desktop version is actually slicker and faster than the server version. The downside is the data is in an encrypted flat file database. I bought the server version so I could have access to the data from it's MySQL database (so I could integrate some of the info with other softwares). After having used the desktop version for 3+ years I highly recommend their products. Support is also very good indeed. You won't be disappointed. Just be sure the version you buy has the features you need/want. Good luck.

I use this product every single day. When my computer is turned on the software is automatically loaded :)

I know this thread is a bit dated, but I wanted to add my experience with this software. I never heard it discussed, but as Stub says, this is one powerful piece of software if you use all of it. I am at that point where I am missing things because I work off a spreadsheet and just can't look at all the data in the ways i sometimes want. So I went searching for a tool. There are several, but for one reason or another the others weren't right for me. I wanted something cloud based as I work on several different machines. I am just getting started in a 14 day trial, but so far I am really impressed. Also, their support was fast and they loaded up a trial for me on their server in under an hour from request. They will also load on a remote server if you want, and of course they have a stand alone Windows/Mac version. So if you are in the market, you might want to take a look.

If you do use this already and have any comments or tips, please share.
