It's difficult to answer this question .
Chinese people like "pin yin" domain,such as:
ruanjian.com (means software.com)
In china ,english domain is not popular.

is pin yin the english characters for the chinese word ?
i can understand why that would be popular.

im in korea and most korean words people know the english for.
example babo, people know means stupid,

kimchi.net is dropping soon, which is the korean national food. registered 1996 already got a snap on it though :)

Yes,you are right pin yin is the characters for chinese word.
And I like kimchi,I eat it in koera restaurant ,good taste.

Anyway, thanks for the pinyin explanation. That explains why I can never figure out what names like those mean!
