Hey guys, I want to create something strictly dedicated to selling and buying domains, websites, and web related stuff. I have the forum up right now, just wanting some suggestions on what you think should be included. Also if the design of the forum could be improved.

I agree. Buy a vBulletin license and get a custom-made skin.

I disagree. There are countless forums out there that run on MyBB, SMF, etc. and are doing well.
Your problem is that the skin is relatively uneventful. So, rather than looking into spending money on a vB license, i'd start by getting a better skin for your current project. Once it's running and people are coming/posting, you can still convert to vB.
