I had a company contact me today offering to sell my domain names as a broker. They require a 15% broker fee on the selling price. Is this a standard broker fee? How would this process work? They also want me to send them an Authorization Email giving them permission to sell my domain names. How should I word the Authorization Email without setting myself up for problems. Any information would be helpful.

Possible scam, true. More details would help in determining the legitimacy of the offer.
Also, 10% is a typical fee to brokers (Sedo and GreatDomains, for example.)

Hmm I think it depends on what they are doing for you. I've brokered a number of sales - both representing buyer and seller - but it's been a different situation than Sedo or GD. When representing the seller, it involved active work in getting a buyer for the domain. I've never made less than $500 on such a transaction and it typically is about 1/3 of the selling price net of transaction costs. Less than that, it doesn't make sense. Personally, unless it is just a listing service, 15% seems very low unless you are talking sales in the $XX,XXX+ range.

Do they have a site ? ... a list of former clients ? ... a list of previous Verifiable sales ?

Check them out well ! - If it is just a listing service as Sharon mentioned , It won't be worth it unless they have loads of Traffic ....

This is a company that sells scripts. I first contacted them because I bought there script from someone that did not have permissions to sell it in the first place. They are in the process of helping me get a refund from the company I bought it from. They also contacted the the website I purchased it off of and now that script is no longer listed on there site. They have also sent me an email to forward to my credit card company to get the charges taken off of my card.
