Domain Appreciation

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if there is any specific appreciation on domains(is the appreciation different for each extension?) per annum. Also is it possible that there can be depreciation in a domain? By this I mean consistent, not just because the market has had a slump.

There is no specific appreciation/depreciation on tlds. Only on specific domain names. Great names will appreciate in value. Crap names will depreciate in value. But in the end. You will only get for any domain what a willing buyer is willing to offer, and you are willing to accept.
