I personally think for this instance the .net is worth more than the .com because of the official PHP website being .net

What do you think it is woth?

Hey Ryan. Very nice indeed! I disagree with you on the .net being more valuable simply because the official PHP site is one also, beacuse when it comes down to it, .com will always be the best extension for any name (unless it's a .org, in which case a particular term may be more popular than it would be as a .com). Still a nice name, $20-30 easy...good luck!

Good point about the .net, so it is suitable for development. Value is still going to be less than the .com, I would estimate ~$40. There's prob not a huge market for PHP news outside of the PHP.NET itsself. Will be interesting to see what becomes of the name though!

Looks like the .com attempted to be developed, but no updates for three years over there.

Or ... you could develop the domain for a php-based script that helps extract and filter real-world news depending on user parameters. Think phpBB providing bulletin boards, phpLive providing live support software, and phpNews providing ???

Used this way, the name suddenly gains a broader market, and could be worth $50-$100. Just IMHO.

Without getting developed, I would say that the name itself is worth between $10-$15, good luck!
