Anyone want to hazard a guess how much it may be worth to a jewelry business?

BIJOU French for jewel
JOUEL old French for jewel

BIJOU+JOUEL = BIJOUEL

thanks

let me take a stab at it, since I end up answering most of my own questions eventually:

$0

Perhaps greater than $0, if you can find some up and coming jewelry business that wants it for their name and marketing.
The name is difficult to pronounce, the meaning is not readily understood, and impossible to spell, unless you are French.

Good luck with that.

You made an attempt to come up with a creative name, but I'm afraid the merge of keywords doesn't produce a strong name. Even if you're French it doesn't pass the radio test either (I guess it could be understood as "bijou-elle" for example). Ideally a brandable name should pass the radio test (preferably) (imo). I read and speak French and I'm scratching my head when I see a name like that. I shouldn't have to. A brand name should flow well, and be instantly accepted mentally.
Simply put, I don't think the name is strong enough to become a brand. You'll do better next time.

Now we're talkin'.... the radio test... never heard of that... Googled it, like I Google practically everything I don't understand.. makes me wonder how I survived eons ago at the library flipping through index cards to find a title... anyway...
YES, you're right.... the radio test is brilliant... I get annoyed when I hear something on the radio and can't spell it or remember it easily afterwards!

BijouElle was also a choice, but it's already taken.... kind of like Bijou (jewels) for women (elle)... would look nice in print, but again, difficult to spell unless you've seen the spelling before.

thanks for your input, much appreciated.

Sometimes the Radio Test can work to your advantage...

But the radio test is a useful thing to consider. Then also the extension. Then the length. Then just how it is to say/type. Some phrases just flow nicer than others.
