Not too long since I asked for opinions however,in view of the sale of net.net for over $100,000 I would like your thoughts on the name Dog.net.

Great Domains want to put Dog.net up as buy now $40K - what do you think?

Worth a lot of money, definatly a premium name, but not worth 40K, but try it out and see if it sells. Good luck.

40K is unrealistic, IMO. Mostly, the extension doesn't fit the name. And, the plural, dogs.net is more usable by an end user. Still, a very good name. 3-4K reseller, 5-7K end user. You might could market to the adult industry for this name.

Definately worth at least $40 k in my opinion as its a 3 character common word.. only thing is the (.net)

I'm going with more towards Nameguy. Although you can try as Qwert said to put it up for that price and see if it sells, IMO it will sell closer to the mid $XXXX - high $XXXX range.

Doesn't hurt to try to sell it for low $xx,xxx at first, if it doesnt sell after a little wait, then drop the price but take your time, IMO its worth $xx,xxx

I would put it on there, and hope for the best!!! You might not get $40,000, but would you really turn down $20,000???? Think of how many other domain names you could register!!!
