domain Does SafetyWord (com) have meaning?

Hi NPS,

Yesterday I have made one hasty registration of above domain thinking the phrase is grammatically correct term. Just after registration I realized that phrase I was looking for is Safe Word not Safety word. Anyway here I am trying to find out whether this domain is as bad as I think or if there is light on the end of the black hole. Especially from grammatical and semantic point of view.

My idea was app that would send preset distress message to selected contacts once the phone would recognize the safety word

'safe word' has a meaning, but that would belong in the 'adult domains' section.

The problem you have is that quite a few people seem to have here - they come up with a business idea and make up a phrase that depends on someone else coming up with the same business idea. Not only does someone else have to come up with that idea, they have to think of that exact phrase and have the money to buy it from you.

Domains like this are impossible to appraise with any accuracy. You could keep this for 10 years and never get an inquiry, or 3 months from now it could be one of those domains listed on dnjournal for tens of thousands of dollars and everyone says "why did someone pay that much for that domain?"
