if i make small buissness cards and advertise my site offline in letter boxes putting my buissness cards in the well not really buissness cards just cards advertising my site does any one here think that would work?

Where are you located at , because in the USA it is illegal to put anything in a mailbox without postage.

seriously? are you saying that you get now leaflets or community newsletters and such since i doubt people will chase up someone because of a business card.

btw, i am a brit where we can put things into letter boxes as long as its reasonable.

As an idea, you could just as newsgents to distribute your business cards papers when they are delivered (not when they are bought), this is commonly used in the UK and is quite successful as all the ads fall out of the newspaper as the person opens it.

See here in the states if something is in your mail box it has postage, such as leaflets, newsletters ect. If not that is a violation of a federal law. Any and all postal workers will report it if they see anything in the box (which out here is govt property).
