For nostalgic reasons

In that version, I especially liked the compactness, the smaller blue category pictograms, the font colors, the way "Latest" posts were presented, and the location of the "New Posts" section (completely above the fold). May you rest in peace.

Looking forward to any small improvements of the new version <3

I still miss that design.

It just seems so much more intuitive and easy to navigate IMO.

The right side of the new design has too much stuff there. It just seems cluttered.

You have to scroll way too far down to the sections like "popular this week" and "popular this month".

Also, the "popular this month" threads only have 52 / 52 / 50 / 42 / 37 replies each. You are telling me the 5th most popular thread the entire month only had 37 replies?

Compare those numbers to the screenshot posted before the change. Has activity really dropped that much?
