While waiting for the right buyer, we need steady revenue. How do you ensure that there is a steady cash flow?

working on it. I have this idea that's been in the "back burner" for a while now.

never liked the whole "park it and forget it" concept.

especially reading that Google penalizes your domains or deranks them when they discover your domain is parked.

There has to be better a way than this.

I think it's time to put my "back burner" ideas on the grill finally.

the perfect scenario for a domain with hundreds or thousands of domains is to develop each domain. But who has time? If there was a way to do so in bulk kind of like a "parked domain" way of doing it where the domain has a "legit" looking website and everything is done in a few clicks.

    That would be awesome.

You could always just sign up for the corresponding affiliate program for your domain and simply point your domain to your affiliate link.

That way your domain "has a website". in a way.

and then there is starting your own PBN. Private Blog Network but even those get penalized too if discovered by Google.

This option you better invest in purchasing a unique ip for each website in your PBN.

2 ways. First I run various online businesses of which domaining is one. Second, until my online businesses grow ti be self sustainable i also have a "day job", although it's graveyard shift.

I have a day job, but need a career change. Would like to get into development, but a lot to learn first.

There are different levels of development starting with the basics. We will get into this very soon.

I have a couple of other sources of income from E-commerce , not great huge incomes by any means, but a little extra money per month.

Thanks TCK any advice is appreciated . Created a couple of blogs a couple of years ago.

One I really enjoyed working on was about the early uk rave scene of the 90s. Wish I continued it to be honest.

I always feel you have to be passionate about what you do, else what's the point :)

Passion is very important. But it needs to be directed right to make money. How did you create your blogs? I presume free services like blogger, right?

Using wordpress. Forgot a lot of the skills I learnt though, but I'm sure there still there in the brain cells I have left lol.

True, passion can be costly if not managed properly.

Anyway. Always nice to chat. Good luck with your ventures.

I've added "Domain parking" and "Domain brokering" as options because those are revenue strategies separate from selling owned domains.

If you think there should be other options, please let me know.

Nice idea for a poll, @TCK Personally, I have a few domains developed that make a tiny amount of regular income, and do some writing for money. I also have some affiliate links but have not done much with that.

My goal for next year is to have more developed and hope to have maybe 5 to 8 sites that generate enough revenue to pay for their own renewal plus maybe 2x that for other domain names. It would be much more relaxing if your best domain names more than pay for themselves so you are not under pressure to price low for quick sale.

I've got a pretty big domain monkey on my back.

It takes a multi prong approach...develop best names, day job, broker, and park some for revenue. I still find myself behind the 8 ball on a regular basis! :xf.smile:

The more domains I consider premium that have sponsor links blogs etc rather than landers are basically taken off market unless I put advertising elsewhere. Sure you can make a few cents bucks but it isn't exactly parked for sale let alone making any real potential earnings without a full development and planning.
