In my humble opinion, I wouldn't pay more than reg fee at this point in time...it could change though.

xyz not my favorite, i wouldn't even touch it unless you have a good one word to attach it to.

If I had a top 5 (for right now), it would be:

.com (always number 1)
.org
.net
.io
.co

I like .site and have purchased a bunch of one-word/2 L but these haven't really jumped off yet...reg fee is a little high, but I anticipate .site and .website will start doing well at some point
